KITES PE + CRICKET BASIC COURSE
Course Overview
KITES PE + Cricket Basic course is aimed at coaches who are willing to learn the basic skills of coaching, especially those coaches that are working with children. The course will cover the fundamentals of Batting Bowling & fielding as well as a basic understanding of health and nutrition.
Course Details
- Basics and fundamentals of Batting – grip, stance, footwork, swing, shot errors and correction
- Basics and fundamentals of Bowling – types, technique, bowling action, errors and correction
- Basics and fundamentals of Fielding – Interception, Throwing & Catching
- Basics of Wicket Keeping – Trends, stance, receiving throws and technique
- Basics of throwing - under-arm, over-arm and relay throw
- Video Analysis
- Philosophy & Fundamentals of Coaching
- Communication skills, grooming & etiquette
- Plan, Prepare and Develop coaching sessions and programs
- Ability to monitor sessions & plan evaluation strategies
- Basic Health, Nutrition & Safety methods
- Different styles of coaching & effective delivery method
